COMMON QUESTIONS: Sizing and Product information

HOW DO I KNOW WHICH SIZE CAST COVER I NEED?

Bloccs® Protectors are invaluable whenever and wherever you need waterproof cast or dressing protection — whether pool, beach or bath. Finding the right sized cast protector is a snap using our guides provided below.

Bloccs are easily stretched over the cast or dressing to make a watertight seal. The correct circumference is vital for a watertight seal and the length can be longer than measured. To achieve the best fit, consider both adult and child sizes. Please see the sizing charts for guidance.

FINDING THE RIGHT SIZE ARM OR LEG COVER?

Step 1: Do you need a full or a short cover?

If your cast ends below the elbow or knee a short cover is fine. If you cast ends above the elbow or knee you will need a full cover.

Step 2: Measure for the right cover length.

Measure from the fingertip or heel to just above the cast or dressing.

Step 3: Measure for a watertight seal.

Measure the distance around the arm or leg just above the cast or dressing.

Step 4: Check the Size Chart.

From the Arm or Leg sizing chart, choose the Bloccs cover which will fully fit over the cast or dressing.

HOW DO I PUT ON A BLOCCS?

As your Bloccs® protector is made from Natural Rubber Latex, you should remove any sharp jewellery and be careful not to cause a puncture with your fingernails. Cover rough edges with tape or a stretchy bandage. The smooth, skin-tight, waterproof seal should stretch easily over a dressing.

Before use, rub the seal together with your hands and give it a gentle stretch.

The first time that the Bloccs protector is put on, we recommend that is put on the arm or leg that does not have a cast or dressing. This is a good opportunity to check if you have a suitable size. Bloccs protectors use the same type of seal as that found on dry suits. They are designed to form a smooth, skin-tight, waterproof seal.

If the seal feels too tight or too loose when trying it on, please choose a different size protector. Please then see the returns policy.
